Compact Plasma Gears

Compact Plasma Gears is a retro-inspired 8-bit decorated shoot-em-up game, in which you fly a little ship to the right, while shooting at everything looking suspicious.
Current release is a testing demo with 4 levels included intended for Steam release after additional tweaks and polish, with about 2/3 of future levels still being developed.

Features:

• 8-bit inspired and paletted visuals
• A wide array of enemy ships with different movement and attack patterns (some more annoying than the others)
• A slightly bullet-hellish boss at the end of each level
• 2 characters to pick from, effectively selecting the superattack

Note: the upload is weightier than it should be. I expect to halve the size of it after the final tweaks are made.
